It all begins with a poem. An idea I allow to flow freely from me, onto the page. Describing my awe of love or what it feels like to live life in a bar-less cage. It starts out as a speck of an image in my mind, words helping to give it more shape as it grows. A picture begins to paint itself and I switch to digital editing of my work that has now sprouted out of its first form. I water it with sprinkles of different images, giving it the depths it's roots require. Keeping originality intact, but adding more power. I tattoo it with authenticity, letting words fall out of me, and adding too many astronauts at times. But what is this space meant for if not an entire universe of my thoughts?!?
